Gilbert Harvey of Budworth Hardcastle has reported a number of significant lettings and sales of warehouse and industrial buildings in Corby.
On the Earlstrees Industrial Estate in Corby, Budworth Hardcastle let the 23,194 sq ft semi detached industrial/warehouse unit and a further letting of 12b Earlstrees Road, totalling approximately 12,601 sq ft for industrial/warehouse use.
At 103 Brunel Road, Corby, an industrial/warehouse unit totalling 22,339 sq ft has just been let to Recycle Force and 85c Brunel Road, on the corner of Manton Road, totalling 11,300 sq ft has just been let to Metallico. 57,978 sq ft Industrial warehouse unit on Brunel Road has been let to RCS Logistics and Gilbert Harvey of Budworth Hardcastle also reports interest in Birbeck House totalling approximately 55,000 sq ft and the former Reconomy premises totalling 58,000 sq ft.
At Princewood Road, Corby Budworth Hardcastle reports the letting of part of 7 Princewood Road to the Company Shop totalling approximately 15,320 sq ft and the sale of 4 Princewood Road totalling approximately 11,924 sq ft to Display Mode.
Elsewhere on the Earlstrees Estate, Apex 14 that totals 45,125 sq ft, has received significant interest and Budworth Hardcastle are hoping to secure terms by the end of the month.
Elsewhere in Corby, Budworth Hardcastle report further success on the Weldon South Industrial Estate within the Tyson and Cronin Courtyards having let Unit R to Concord Printers totalling just over 11,000 sq ft and a similar size unit next door – Unit Q – to CRP Print and Packaging with Unit 19 Cronin Courtyard having gone under offer to Table Craft as part of their expansion of their existing premises, giving a further 14,500 sq ft. Units 9 and 10 also under offer with letting to be confirmed within the next 4-6 weeks totalling 38,000 sq ft.
Budworth Hardcastle are also instructed on the 176,000 sq ft Willowbrook Centre, just before Christmas, and are in advanced negotiations for a leasehold disposal of half of the building.
Budworth Hardcastle are also in the process of securing several lettings with the Shieling Court development with units 2, 3, 4 and 9 all currently under offer.
Gilbert Harvey of Budworth Hardcastle comments that despite the general economic conditions, Corby continues to show resilience that we hope continues to prove to be the case during 2012 and there could be the possibility this time next year that there is actually starting to be a shortage of available stock if current levels of take up continue.
