The Northampton office of Marriott Hardcastle has merged with the Peterborough and Kettering offices of Budworth Brown.

The newly merged company will trade under the name of Budworth Hardcastle.

The two companies have operated side by side for some 14 years but with little in the way of overlap. The merger, as a consequence, strengthens the presence of this multi disciplined firm of Chartered Surveyors and Property Consultants.

"The merger will strengthen the services we offer in relation to development consultancy and agency throughout Northamptonshire and North Cambridgeshire. These are very dynamic growth areas and a network across this area of the South Midlands will greatly facilitate the marketing of new developments and existing agency stock" says Gavin Hynes based at the firm’s Peterborough office.

Philip Hardcastle, based at the Northampton office added "a consequence of the merger has been the promotion of Steven Banks and Nick Galloway as Directors within the Building Consultancy Division. James Hill has also been appointed a Director within the Development and Agency Division."
