The Brackmills Industrial Estate in Northampton has remained the prime location in the town since its inception in the late 1970's, and has attracted many international names including Accuride, Coca Cola Enterprises, Eska, Hartman, Igus and Texas Instruments.
Now a Turkish company called Cimstone has become the latest international arrival having taken 9,600 sq ft at PPG Land's Monarch Courtyard development. A new five year lease has been signed at a rent of £6 per sq ft, and the Landlord has fitted bespoke offices within the unit to the Tenants requirements.
James Hill of Budworth Hardcastle commented "Cimstone produce manmade stone products for the building and home improvement trade supplying kitchen manufacturers and installers as well as house builders. Despite the current economic conditions, Cimstone have reported a very active month in January with a record turnover in their UK business to date."
The products are manufactured at a plant in Turkey, using a mixture of natural and manmade raw materials, and then shipped to Northampton. The slabs are then stored at Brackmills before being distributed to customers around the UK.
PPG Land have three remaining units at Monarch Courtyard available to let or for sale; Units 9, 10 and 11 offer space from 7,264 sq ft up to 23,000 sq ft. Unit 9 has been fitted with high quality offices, whilst Units 10 and 11 are in shell condition ready for warehousing or to be fitted to a tenant or buyers specification.
Further information regarding the remaining buildings can be obtained from James Hill at Budworth Hardcastle, Northampon.
